A follow up on our discussion about habits yesterday. Sometimes “good habits” get stale.
Yep. You develop a habit. You crank it into your schedule. You do it daily. You’ve done it for years. But, it quit working for you.
A workout routine that has quit developing you. An eating habit that loses it’s taste. A work process that was good once but has drifted behind because there are new methods or insights.
So, you have to be willing to stop and ask yourself the question: Does this habit still accomplish what I need it to do.
Replacing a good habit with a better one works too.
