Based on her wisdom, you can take this thought home: “if everything is feeling comfortable, you probably need to sit down and do some goal setting.”
Don’t get me wrong. Growth is good and deserves celebration. It’s worth stopping and enjoying. I’m not advocating that you abandon comfort all the time.
But, in the spirit of “if you’re not getting, you’re getting worse”, understanding the dynamic of growth and comfort not coexisting is good advice.
