Keeping our Customers Up and Running During COVID-19

PalletOne maintains essential disaster recovery and business continuity plans to activate in the event of a significant business disruption. Business disruptions can result from severe weather, loss of workforce due to pandemics or man-made scenarios. We designed our business continuity strategies to lessen the effects of these events. While we can’t always avoid business disruptions, PalletOne strives for resiliency through preparedness. Rest assured, we are working hard to mitigate risks to the workforce, raw materials, and markets we serve. The following provides a brief overview of our business continuity program.

PALLETONE’S RAW MATERIAL SUPPLY REMAINS VIBRANT.

We maintain the most substantial finished goods and pallet raw material inventory in the United States. We have implemented daily direct communications with our key suppliers to reduce exposure to supply risks. While our nail supply is sourced globally, as much as 65% comes from North America and less than 10% from China. We operate five sawmills with nearly all (95%) of our lumber supply sourced domestically.

PALLETONE OPERATES 18 LOCATIONS

& AN EXTENSIVE NETWORK OF AFFILIATE SUPPLIERS.

In the event of an emergency, we can supply customers from any of our 18 alternate sites since many of our locations overlap geographically. Additionally, we have an extensive network of affiliate pallet suppliers that we can rely upon. At the customer’s request, we will also maintain a stock load on-site for delivery within 24 hours.

PALLETONE’S WORKFORCE IS INFORMED & EMPOWERED.

We have implemented an active information campaign on the prevention of COVID-19, including cleaning and disinfection recommendations at each of our facilities. Sick employees are strongly encouraged to stay home. Cough/sneeze “etiquette” and hand hygiene are also being promoted with adequate supplies being maintained throughout the workday. Employees exhibiting symptoms on the job will be separated immediately and sent home promptly. Sick leave policies have been adjusted to be more flexible, non-punitive, and consistent with public health guidance.
