What’s your attitude about growth?
Do you believe you can always learn and develop?
Or do you think that, at some point, you are limited based on your intelligence or experience?
Turns out that you can be right either way. Research shows that it’s reasonable to assume that we have finite intellectual ability.
The only problem with that research is the fact that people who believe they can continue to learn and to grow usually do.
Here’s how I think about it. We may all have our limits but most of us haven’t tested them. Thus, a “growth mindset”-believing we can always improve and learn- will continue to yield results as long as we adopt it.
You aren’t limited. There is still more to do.
