Albert Einstein said: “A problem will never be solved at the same level it was created.”
We don’t live in a problem free world, there is always something going on. Einstein’s statement resonates with me.
When we confront things that aren’t right, we should spend time defining the problem clearly, understanding the roots of it and considering it from all the angles.
If you believe what Einstein says, the next step is to consider what we don’t know, what we don’t have and who we must help or interject to make the situation better.
In most cases, rearranging the chairs on the deck won’t make it better. We must be humble enough to ask ourselves what else is needed to solve the issue at hand.
Solving the next problem is the way we make our company stronger.
