What is your plan to assure others feel connected?
I am connecting with my teammates when:
- I acknowledge them.
- I make eye contact and say hello.
- I catch them doing something right and tell them they are doing well.
- I say thank you.
- I give feedback.
- I offer kind words.
- I take an interest in their lives outside of work and take time in our conversations to speak about it.
- I notice a teammate struggling and offer a helping hand.
- I acknowledge accomplishment and celebrate it with them.
There are many ways to connect.
We know when others are successful at connecting.
We know how to do it.
