What is a hassle you are accommodating at work?
I remember a few years ago when we acquired a plant, we took a tour and saw a bucket catching a leak. The bucket was such a permanent fixture they built it a stand to raise it higher.
We simply repaired the leak. Instead of working around it, we eliminated it. No more waste. No more muss.
I don’t know about you, but I’m guilty of putting up with short-term, halfway fixes on hassles. I do it long enough that it becomes the new normal.
Imagine someone new comes and looks at your work area for the first time. What will they see that embarrasses you just a bit? Why don’t you get it fixed? Eliminate the hassle.
