OVERCOMING MISTAKES

“Effort overcomes mistakes every time.” – Urban Meyer

How we handle mistakes determines our outcomes.

Mistakes can stop us cold.  Cause us to retreat.  Affects our attitude.

If you follow football, you know Meyer is having to put his beliefs to the test.  He made a few mistakes, and the test will be what he does to rebound.

Hard work is a good start.

Working hard in the face of a mistake shows a commitment to the cause.

Working hard in the face of a mistake indicates a willingness to bounce back.

Working hard in a smart way shows the wisdom to learn from the mistake and to not repeat it.

Working hard humbly demonstrates a willingness to make things right.

If mistakes cause you to fall back, withdraw and lick your wounds, remember that hard work is the best alternative.
