Be careful out there. As you encounter the dog days of summer, be mindful to the risks around you as you work.
Fatigue caused by heat can drain you. It can cause you to put down your caution and intention. Bad habits creep up. Injuries result.
There are certain situations which expose us to risk. As you think about it, those situations take us out of our routine. We are cleaning up spills or clearing jams. We are fixing machines or transitioning from one process to the next. We move from practices we repeat to those which are different.
Also, those different processes are keeping us from the routine we seek.
Thus, we add hurry to the mix.
Hurrying while we do non-routine things can get you injured.
- Be mindful of fatigue.
- Be intentional in non-routine situations
- Slow down and take care.
- Keep each other straight.
