SURPASSING YOUR GOALS

Jon Acuff says, “spare change adds up.”

Here’s what he means.  If he has a goal, he goes just a bit farther.

If he’s trying to save $5 a week, he saves $6 instead.  That “spare change” will be $52 at the end of the year.

If he’s running a mile, he goes an extra hundred yards.

If he’s trying to build 2,000 pallets, he shoots for 2,100.

The idea is that if you do more than your goal, you’ll be surprised by the impact.  A mindset of trying to go a bit farther achieves amazing results.

Adding spare change to your constructive efforts is a growth mindset.
