Our frequency of accidents continues to drop this year as compared to last year.
It could be dumb luck, but I don’t think so. As I travel around and visit with plant leaders, you frequently point to plant and individual safety as being a key to work satisfaction.
Put simply, if you are scared at work, you will find something else to do.
The key to improved safety is making it a “top of mind” priority. We need to talk about it, build our habits around it and challenge each other to maintain the standard.
When we can all agree that safety is a priority and all work together to make sure we achieve it, good things happen.
Thanks for stepping up to the line. The effort is working.
