I enjoy reading a leadership blog by Michael Hyatt. He recently wrote an article about how observing an orchestra conductor can teach us about leading. Here is the link for your benefit >>
I appreciate these insights. It reminds me of a couple more insights.
- When you see something well done, pay attention to the leadership and the organization. You have a chance to learn a skill, develop an insight.
- There are many ways to approach leadership and organizational excellence. An athletic coach will have one approach. A farmer another. A general a third. An artist yet another way. As you develop your style, look for methods and strategies that resonate with you. You can always learn a bit more to add to your skill set.
