“Time is the stuff of life. You either learn to steward it faithfully, or you squander it.” – Reagan Rose
Those are the extremes: good steward of time or time waster.
We know we each have the same amount of time in a day.
Learning to steward it faithfully takes effort, purpose, and practice.
As I read the above quote, it caused me to consider: “How am I trying to steward my time better?”
I have never been a perfect steward of time. I expect you’re in the same place.
But as I review my habits, there are pockets of time I am certain I can deploy better. I have to make an effort.
So I’m sending you this note to encourage you to set a time stewardship goal:
- Exercise more.
- Be diligent with your attendance and punctuality.
- When you’re on task at work, figure out how you can organize your space and tools to get more out of your time on task.
The goal is to steward better, squander less.
