What’s it like to experience you?

Some craft the experience.  Everything they do is intentional.  They want to project a certain image and carefully consider the way they walk, talk, act and react to work together to create the image.

Some folks don’t give it much thought at all.  What you see is what you get.  If others don’t like it, though, it’s their problem, not yours.

I think it’s important to consider what others experience.

It’s a hard job to keep in mind.  To be aware of how I influence people, I must be mindful of my surroundings.  I can stay too far inside my head at times.  I need to branch out.

I’ve learned that others respect authenticity.  To be authentic is to be true to my heart, mind, and soul.  I try to resist being something I’m not.  I say things I believe.  I do things that I believe ought to be done.

I favor honesty.  I try to listen and learn.  I consider what I might appreciate if I was on the other side of me.

I want to be consistent.  If you deal with me, I want you to know what to expect each time you see me.

I show up.  I participate as a good teammate.

I’m not perfect.  I try to learn each time I err or fall short.  I hope people think I get better over time.

I’m mindful of my words.  I consider what I say to be constructive and encouraging.  I praise openly. Coach privately.

I am faithful.  Hopeful.  Loving.  I hope the impact of these behaviors is such that it makes a difference for others.

My sense of who I want to be has been refined over years.

This is how I want to be experienced.  It’s unique to me.  Can you describe your desired impact?
