WORKING HARD AND EXECUTING WELL

“When entitlement sets in, you have a problem.” – Kirby Smart, University of Georgia national championship football coach

After a long season, college football ended with the Georgia Bulldogs earning their second straight national championship. When asked post-game how they accomplished it, Smart said his team worked. They weren’t entitled.

2022 was a championship year for PalletOne. It was the second year in a row that we set records. We did it because we worked hard as a team. When we got breaks, we cashed them in. When challenges came our way, we braced for them and handled them. We performed extremely well. I’m proud of our achievements.

But 2023 is underway! We have hopes of executing well yet again. We expect to do well. We know that it won’t happen without working hard again.

It’s time to take stock of where we are and where we want to go this year.

Our pallet team faces the challenge of sharing our methods and learning the strengths of our colleagues at UFP as we combine resources to establish and build the largest pallet company in the nation.

Our treating team has worked hard to solidify our operations, improve our inventory management, and serve our customers. We are set to have a great year.

No time for complacency. Nothing is automatic.

No time for entitlement. Competition is coming for us. No one is giving us anything.

Let’s build on our success in 2023.
